About
Gerald Drocton, MD, is a neurointerventional radiologist with Mount Carmel Health System. His expertise is in diagnosing and treating vascular diseases of the brain, head/neck, and spine. These diseases include but are not limited to cerebral and spinal aneurysms, arteriovenous fistulae (AVF), arteriovenous malformations (AVM), vascular malignancies, as well as ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. In addition, Dr. Drocton has expertise in treating a variety of nonvascular diseases of the spine including vertebral augmentation for pathologic and non-pathologic compression fractures, blood patch for cerebrospinal leak, and steroid injections for pain management.
Our Neurointerventional providers work together with multi-disciplinary teams to offer patients the best treatment options. Providing emergent and inpatient management as well as outpatient clinic consultation and care, the team uses image guided minimally invasive surgery to diagnose and treat neurovascular conditions of the brain, head, neck and spine.
