I feel the provider didn't have extensive knowledge about my condition on multiple occasions. I was disturbed that I had to get completely undressed for a medication refill appointment. I know I could have refused but I was just so taken aback that I didn't even question it. I will not be returning to this provider.

This was wellness check. My only complaint is the recording that comes on when you call office. I was returning their call and there were no options. At one time you had option to leave message for the doctor's nurse. Not now. A fried told me to select the option saying doctor or pharmacy. Not this visit, but last year I was given the discharge summary of someone else. I didn't realize until I got home. On another visit, the doctor was referring to someone else's chart.

DR. Giersch is a caring physician --one who sees the patient not a number in a chart. Dr. Giersch answers her own calls after hours --doesn't leave it to a PA or NP-- someone who does not the patient. Dr. Is very detailed and through in her getting to patient issues and problems. Her staff members, are very efficient, polite, caring individuals --so rare in today's doctor's offices.

there was a medical form to be filled out prior to the visit. physician didnt address any of the concerns on the form. she ask me questions that were answered on the form leading me to believe she didnt even read the form to begin with. I waited a whole hour in the room after speaking with the nurse for her/physician.

I've been coming here for quite some time now and I can definitely say that each time the staff is different which means the turnover rate is quite high! I've dealt with unpleasant front desk staff that didn't put customers/patients first and also didn't use good cust service over the phone. I've definitely provided feedback on how I felt about that but during my most recent visit I was actually impressed! The front desk person greeted me right away, she said thank you, she smiled & I appreciate that! I wasn't expecting that at all!

I wish I would have met Dr. Giersch years ago when my family first moved to Columbus. I Prayed for a Good kind hearted Dr and The Good Lord Blessed me with her. She's beautiful inside and out.
Dr. Giersch was professional and treated me for what I was there for. I wished that I would be asked if there was anything else I needed to discuss. I have never been asked that. I just wish that I was allowed to be treated at the same visit for another illness that has popped up unexpectedly. Not to be told I would have to make another appointment when I am already there. This did not happen at this visit, but it has happened a few times before.

Dr Giersch is all business and really doesn't want to hear about anything other than what you are there for. If you try to tell her, she kind of shuts you down. She never asks if there is anything else you want to tell her, probably because she doesn't really have the time to listen to some new issue.
