Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 ripe pear or apple, peeled is desired, chopped
- 2 cups chopped kale leaves, tough stems removed
- ½ cup cold orange juice
- ½ cup cold water
- 12 ice cubes
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
Directions
Place bananas, pear (or apple), kale, orange juice, water, ice cubes and flaxseed in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

Strawberry Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup skim milk (or any preferred milk alternative)
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ½ banana
- 2 Tablespoons peanut butter
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender – liquids on the bottom, then peanut butter, then fruit. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peach slices
- 1 cup carrot juice
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
Directions
Combine peaches, carrot juice, orange juice, flaxseed and ginger in blender: blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
