Dr. Addo received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and Brown Medical School, and then completed an internship at Case Medical Center/University Hospitals of Cleveland. He completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Brown Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. His special areas of interest include Electrophysiology.

Dr. Addo is very likely the most competent physician who has ever taken care of me. He thoughtfully explained each aspect of the problem as well as his recommendation for treatment. The procedure he preformed (Cardiac Catheter Ablation) was a complete success. And his follow up reassuring and informative.

DR ADDO WAS VERY FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND WHEN I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE SIZE AND LOOK OF AN AUTOMATIC DEFIBULATOR HE WENT AND GOT ONE SO I COULD SEE WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE. HE ANSWERED QUESTIONS I HAD ABOUT IT.

Dr. Adoo is an excellent physician but always seems in a hurry. when I have tests I never get feedback. I just have to assume everything tested all right or they would have called me. This is also frustrating as I don't know if everything is alright or they just forgot or didn't bother to follow up. This may sound petty & I understand I am not their only patient but again it is frustrating.

Dr. Addo actually personally called me at 9:00 ish the night of my appointment (after I had seen him that morning), to further explain and clarify my question about eligibility of a procedure we had discussed that morning. I thought that was very gracious and thoughtful of him. It really made me feel he thought I was important!

I really liked Dr. Addo and he and his staff seemed great. Also, I completely understand things can happen to cause long delays. But I expect a call or at least an explanation if delay is an hour. This was completely unacceptable.
