I wasn't happy at first w/ the appt being held via telehealth because I was afraid it would be rushed and I wouldn't totally be heard. But Dr. Garcia spent an adequate amount of time with me and I felt she didn't rush me at all. She listened, made sure she took complete notes and came up with a 'game plan' for next steps.

My experience with Dr Garcia during that one visit was probably one of the best physician visits I've ever had. I appreciate the time she took with me and how she explained everything clearly. For the first time I had to wait for quite a while (30 minutes). No one explained the situation until I was in the examining room. Then the nurse apologized and the doctor apologized and explained the situation.

As a new patient I expected that the doctor would have been more familiar with my medical history and have actually checked out some of my problems rather than walking me up and down the hall.
This was a phone visit. Dr. Garcia came on the phone right away.We talked about medicine I had been on for years, I ran out of the meds and had no refills. I was out the meds for a week. When I talked to Dr Garcia, I told her I did not need the pills any more. She told to stay off them for 6 weeks to how I felt. I was taking them fo my headaches and my headaches are all gone now.

Dr. Garcia herself is wonderful at explaining her thoughts and concerns in normal jargon, not medical. She has a great bedside manner in how she approaches person matters and getting me to understand the harm I am doing to myself with bad habits. Dr. Garcia included me in 'the what I need to work on solution' to help me instead of going straight for an additional medication.
