Dr. Yao received her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and completed her internship and residency at Northwestern University. She went on to complete her fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Clinical Neurophysiology. She is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. Her special interests include Dementia, Headache, Numbness/Tingling, Neuromuscular Disorders, Neuropathy, Parkinson’s Disease, Seizures, Stroke, and Tremor.

Always promt with turning in paper work that is needed for fmla/disability . They actually answer messages when you send them. Yoire able to always reach them if you have a question.very attentive and caring.

I have always respected Dr. Yao and feel she has given me wonderful care. Sometimes I feel like she doesn't always get what I'm saying, but I think that could be due more to my not communicating my thoughts and questions very clearly to her. The office and nursing staffs have always been professional and courteous, and very friendly and willing to accommodate any requests.
