About
Dr. Rink earned her undergraduate degree from DePauw University, Master's Degree in Clinical Genetics from Indiana University and her medical degree from Indiana University. She then completed her internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where she received several awards for academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Rink completed her Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship and Medical Genetics training at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital respectively. She also completed a postgraduate training program in Biomedical Ethics. Dr. Rink is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Medical Genetics. She is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American College of Medical Genetics. Dr. Rink’s primary clinical interests include genetics, fetal care and prenatal diagnosis. She has authored several book chapters and written articles on these topics. Dr. Rink served for several years on the ACOG Committee on Genetics including roles as the Vice Chair and Chair of the committee. She lectures around the country on these topics to teach obstetric providers about genetics in pregnancy. Dr. Rink lives in the Columbus area with her husband and four children. She enjoys family time especially spent at Lake Erie, traveling and cooking. She hopes to perfect her gardening skills. Dr. Rink is dedicated to providing specialized perinatal care to the pregnant women of the greater Columbus area and beyond.
