She was very friendly and calming due to it being my first time ever meeting her. Easy conversation, and seemed very knowledgeable.
Dr. Bennett always remembers us she cares about life outside of the pregnancy. No matter the concerns she always works through them with us, explaining everything and talking through all of our options.
I'm sure she meant well with her recommendations but I felt very uncomfortable as it felt like she was pressuring me into using birth control. I have done a lot of research and know the side effects. I have very good reason for not using so I defended my decision. She seemed to brush off my concerns and instead focus on supplements I should be taking. Not sure that she is supposed to be offering nutrition advice especially not knowing if I'm even in a deficit of the micronutrients she brought up. Overall, I just felt judged and not comfortable - two things a girl fears for her first ob/gyn appointment.
