Dr. Zimmerman is fantastic. He's careful, listens well, knowledgeable and just terrific.
He listens, but on my side sometimes I don't listen.
I could have gone directly to a couple specialist, but I trust Dr. Zimmerman's opinion and knowledge to keep me alive and healthy. I can talk to him about anything and know he will advise me correctly and send a understandable medical description of my issue to any specialist I need to see. In this case he did exactly that. I will not go else where and dread the day I hear he will retire.
The provider has served our family well for many years. I was a bit concerned about the providers nurse sharing misinformation and opinions about the Covid vaccine. This was done in a casual conversation regarding side effects f the vaccine.
Really appreciate Dr Zimmerman's prompt, thorough attention to my need and for the time he spent with me, which likely included much of his lunch hour. Very professional and made me feel like I mattered.

After my doctor submits referral or test order into your system, it seems to just spin into nowhere land. I have to take it upon myself to get the tests scheduled and/or referrals done. Somebody is really dropping the ball and it happens repeatedly.
Dr Zimmerman was awesome. He took time to listen to my symptoms and the length of time I have had them. Checked me over thoroughly and put me on game plan. Called him next day with concern about effect new medicine was giving me, he changed it right away. After 5 days didn't feel any better so I called office. He personally called me that afternoon to talk to me. What doctors do that anymore it was fantastic. It showed he cared and wanted the best treatment moving forward. I really appreciated that especially since he isn't my primary doctor in that office. The care he gave me this visit was amazing and I would DEFINITELY see him again!!!! In fact the whole office was great with everything going on right now. They all deserve praise!!

Dr. Zimmerman has been my physician for many years. He understands all of my health needs, and works with me to maintain my best physical health. That is what an excellent doctor is supposed to do. He excels in talking to me about all of my test results, and prescribes appropriate medications when needed. Mark is an excellent nurse also. He checks my blood pressure, etc., and asks me the goofy Medicare questions to see if my mental acuity has deteriorated. Funny that my Medical School training didn't cover that. I see that you want to pester me with another survey, so no, you will have to select another victim.
Have been going to Dr. Zimmerman all my adult life. I love that he knows me as a person, my health, what's normal and not normal for me from working together for so long. I believe this allows me to get the best care possible. I really seem to like the new MyChart system that MCMG has migrated to.
When I actually saw Dr Zimmerman, it was good and I felt like he listened to me.
The survey when in the office was ridiculous. Bad questions asked that I did not like for the first time.

Dr. Robert Zimmerman is the MOST caring physician on the planet. He genuinely cares about his patients. He spends a great amount of time with me during each visit and I never feel rushed out of the office, He's an excellent diagnostician and his treatment plan is always the correct one. I've been going to him for 27 years and there isn't anyone I would trust with my medical needs more than him.
