As always Dr Fate was caring, understanding and knowledgeable about what brought me in.
The initial staff member who also served as my chaperone was very friendly and attentive to my needs. The physician, however, did not seem very trauma-informed based on our interactions. I was lying down on the exam table at one point, and he grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me up when he was done examining me, which was upsetting. I understand he was probably attempting to help, but I do not appreciate being grabbed, especially by the wrist, which feels aggressive. I think it's important that doctors are aware of these sorts of things, especially with female patients who may feel uncomfortable or have trauma responses.
I always feel heard and understood by Dr. Fate, and he does so well to not make me feel anxious or self-conscious about questions I have. He always explains things well and I always leave appointments feeling empowered with the plan of care he comes up with.

Once the doctor arrived in the exam room everything was fine. He obviously noticed the time and my appointment time and apologized and said I should not have to wait that long.
This was our first visit to Dr Fate. I am the mother of the patient and was very very impressed with Dr Fate. I am still waiting on referrals for my son. He was an extreme preemie and Dr Fate Is the first Dr to address the scars that my son have from surgeries he had close to birth. All other Dr.s that we have seen have just said there was noting to do about them. His stomach hurts but they always said he would grow out of It. Dr Fate took the time to really look at him and agreed with me and my son that the muscles are Involved and does cause pain. Honestly I have already told many people how pleased I was with this Dr.

My appointment was supposed to be one week earlier. I showed up for it and they just then told me it had to be changed because the doctor wasn't in and I should have got a phone call. In the past Dr Fate did a decent job. He never seemed like was in too much of a rush. He seemed like he cared. This last visit seemed okay initially. As soon as I answered his question and said I was not vaccinated his demeanor changed. He questioned me as to why and honestly it felt like I was being judged for not having received it. He seemed arrogant and rushed through the rest of my visit. I am a young healthy adult and I have the freedom to choose what I want to do when it comes to my health care. Dr. Fate do a better job understanding that it is everyone's choice. As a provider support people in that. Even though your are a provider it still is none of your business as to why people chose to refuse a vaccine. As silly as it may seem to you, I will not be back to see dr. Fate, nor any other provider in your office. Thanks.

After contacting my designated PCP for issues post-ER visit, she could not get me in for almost 2 weeks even though I was in a lot of pain. I had seen Dr. Fate before, and he got me in next day. He explained what was happening in detail and we came up with a plan together. He encouraged me to contact him via portal message to see how I was doing the next week. I didn't feel rushed, I felt he listened and the treatment has helped me immensely.
