Mount Carmel Pharmacy

Offers convenient bedside prescription delivery and refill services for patients, colleagues, and community members across the Mount Carmel Health System, as well as a variety of medication services, prescription support programs, vaccines, and over-the-counter medications. Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy

Provides 24-hour services to our patients during their hospital stay or ED visit, including clinical oversight and attendance at multidisciplinary rounds and various clinical programs, such as Nutrition Support and Antimicrobial Stewardship.

Pharmacy Outpatient Care Centers

This is our referral-based service staffed by a team of patient care pharmacists with specialized training in outpatient medication management related to multiple disease states, including anticoagulation, hypertension, smoking cessation, gestational diabetes, and GLP-1 medication management.

Population Health

Includes patient care pharmacists serving patients and providers as medication experts related to transitions of care (review of discharge orders, confirming affordability, performing patient education, and patient follow-up), provider support to achieve excellence in HEDIS quality metrics, and integration into ambulatory clinics to support adherence to evidence-based medications.

Includes ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy practice resident opportunities at our Mount Carmel East and Mount Carmel Grove City hospital locations, which offer exposure to all areas of our pharmacy department.
