Over the course of five years, our residents typically perform more than 1,100 operative procedures, including 200 major procedures with relative autonomy during the fifth year. Residents are exposed to a wide variety of procedures, including a large number of laparoscopic procedures. Extensive and early first year operative experience is a hallmark of the program. The following charts show major procedure averages for our most recent graduates and our first year residents for 2023-2024.
