Mount Carmel Pharmacy Program

Mount Carmel has an exceptional pharmacy department, and pharmacy residency and internship programs to match.

Our 24-hour pharmacy service features outpatient services, anticoagulation centers and inpatient services, including automated dispensing systems, decentralized pharmacy services, drug consulting services, a nutritional support team, physician rounding and a surgery satellite.

Two outgrowths of that service are Mount Carmel's pharmacy residency and internship programs. Both programs focus on further developing your skills and giving you the real-world experience that can advance your pharmacy education or take your career to the next level.

Our PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency has four available positions. Two residents at each of the following sites:

• Mount Carmel East
• Mount Carmel Grove City

Our pharmacy internship offers real-world clinical and work experience while you're still in school. With responsibilities that reinforce your classroom learning, you'll perform a range of duties not found in any retail setting and expand your training and practice skills each academic year.
