It’s hard to think of many positives coming out of the pandemic, but one of them might be the growth of the kindness movement. It’s centered around incorporating small, random acts of kindness in our lives with the idea that they might brighten another’s day and encourage more acts of kindness in return.
Sometimes all it takes to get started is a little inspiration. So with the kindness movement and mission in mind, we’ve created this quick list of 13 things you can do this fall for people you know (and even those you don’t).
1. Pay for a coworker's coffee.
2. Help someone prepare their house for winter.
3. Bake a pie and take it to a neighbor.
4. Donate warm clothes to a shelter.
5. Rake a neighbor's leaves.
6. Make a casserole for a struggling friend or family member.
7. Compliment a stranger.
8. Call an old friend to check in.
9. Send a care package to a soldier.
10. Thank a healthcare worker.
11. Donate blood.
12. Write a thank you note to your mail carrier.
13. Get your COVID-19 vaccine.
To keep the list top of mind, print it here and hang it on your fridge. And, for some extra fun, grab some colored pencils or crayons and color it in!
