Milestone Hiring as Mount Carmel’s Dublin Hospital Nears Spring 2025 Opening

Columbus, Ohio- As Mount Carmel’s new Dublin hospital progresses towards its anticipated Spring 2025 opening, significant developments have marked the journey since breaking ground in March 2023 and the topping out ceremony in November 2023. Today, Mount Carmel Health System announced the appointment of Monica Treinish to Vice President of Operations for the forthcoming Dublin hospital.
Monica, currently serving as the Regional Director for Emergency Services at Mount Carmel, brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to her new role. As Vice President of Operations, Monica will be responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of the efficient operation of patient care at Mount Carmel Dublin. Her responsibilities will extend to ensuring the highest standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and fostering employee engagement in day-to-day operations.
“The strategic hiring of key personnel marks another significant milestone in the journey to opening a new hospital,” said Diane Doucette, President and Chief Operating Officer of Mount Carmel New Albany, St. Ann’s and Dublin. “Monica’s extensive experience in hospital operations makes her an ideal candidate to lead operations as we open the new Dublin facility in Spring 2025. We have full confidence that her leadership will significantly contribute to delivering exceptional healthcare services in the community.”
The new hospital will include a full range of services, with the latest technology and equipment, including:
- Emergency department with 14 bays
- Hospital with 30 inpatient beds and 10 additional observation beds
- Operating and procedure rooms
- Full imaging suite
- Diagnostic cardiology and neurology
- Primary and specialty medical care
- Outpatient lab
- Community health and well-being space
Additionally, the new hospital will be flexibly designed to accommodate future growth and the addition of new services as the Dublin market demands.
