Visits with Dr. Barnes are never rushed or expedited. He takes time to ask my opinion on procedures and new medications. Visits don't seemed based on efficiency or profits. Can't say this is case for some specialists I have seen. Overall, he is a caring and sincere physician.
As always my experience was wonderful. I felt that I was cared for every step of the way, and Dr. Barnes listened to all my concerns. I felt like I was heard and given adequate information regarding all my concerns and need.

I received a difficult diagnosis this year. Dr. Barnes had to give me the news. But along with the bad news he gave me some good news that this was doable. I followed his instructions and located a great surgeon, had a pancreatectomy-splenectomy and so far this story has a happy ending. This visit was a wellness checkup, fairly routine. I wish everyone could find a capable, caring doctor like Dr. Barnes.

The only way you can help more people get the same amazing care I receive from Dr. Barnes, is to have more doctors like Dr. Barnes. I have had a serious fear of doctors all my life, but I actually looked forward to my checkup with Dr. Barnes, as he isn't just a fantastic doctor, but a real human being. My family is extremely fortunate that we literally stumbled upon him being our family physician, as our previous doctor several years ago was out on maternity leave. If it were not for Dr. Barnes, I'm quite certain my grandma would not be alive today, as he diagnosed her with CHF, while her other doctor just told me my grandmother was 'old' and her deteriorating health was something i had to accept. I seriously cannot say enough about how amazing Dr. Barnes is, and that is including his staff (especially his main nurse Trina). Sometimes. as in all doctor offices, you may have to wait to be seen, but Dr. Barnes NEVER rushes you and your concerns, and even takes the time to give you a good honest laugh. if the medical profession and more sincere and honest practitioners like Dr. Barnes, I'm 110% certain the world would be a healthier, happier place.
