About

Dr. Karve received her medical degree from George Washington University and completed her internship and residency at the University of Michigan. She then went on to complete her fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Women's Heart Program, a program created to increase awareness of heart disease in women, reduce gender disparities in diagnosis and treatment, and to provide an experience for women of all socioeconomic classes to be more engaged in their health. Her novel program has been featured on local television stations, news outlets, and social media. She is a board member of the Columbus American Heart Association and is also the team cardiologist for the Columbus Fury Professional Volleyball team. Dr. Karve is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, obesity medicine, and echocardiography. Her special interests include women's health and innovative approaches to obesity medicine.
