COVID-19 Screening Stations

At Mount Carmel, we’re committed to keeping our patients healthy and safe. This page covers how pre-procedural and Mount Carmel Virtual Visit patients can schedule a COVID-19 test, what they need to bring, and where they can get tested.

Pre-procedural Patients

Mount Carmel currently requires COVID-19 testing for the following:

• Patients who require an overnight stay after their procedure,
• Patients who have COVID-19 symptoms, or
• Patients with a close contact exposure to someone with COVID-19.

In addition, patients whose scheduled procedures do not meet the guidelines above may be tested for COVID-19 at their provider's discretion.

To schedule an appointment, call 614-546-2300 no later than one week prior to your procedure. Appointments are required and you must have a provider order to schedule. The scheduling call center accepts calls Monday – Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM. Due to high call volumes, you may experience long wait times when you call to schedule. If you have been on hold for longer than 15 minutes, please hang up and call back.

All patients must be tested by noon three days prior to their procedure. If you miss the deadline, please call 614-546-2300.

Mount Carmel Virtual Visit Patients

If you utilized Mount Carmel Virtual Visit (Zipnosis) for a COVID-19 visit and your visit summary stated you should receive a COVID-19 test, please call one of the COVID-19 testing locations below for more information on how to receive your test at that location. Please mention you have completed a Mount Carmel Virtual Visit when you call.

What to Bring

Please bring the following items with you to your test:

• Identification (ID)
• Insurance Card
